Examples of installment amounts

Your monthly instalment is calculated as your net income multiplied by the instalment percentage, divided by 12. The amount is rounded down to the nearest whole or half one hundred kroner.

How much you have to pay each month (2024)

If you are paid a maximum of no more than DKK 133,589 a year after tax, the instalment percentage is always 3 or 4%, depending on whether you have children or not.

Duties as a provider

The instalment percentage is 3% because you have children you need to support.

This means that you need to pay DKK 300 a month.

No duties as a provider

The instalment percentage is 4% because you do not have any children you need to support.

This means that you need to pay DKK 400 a month.
