Notice: We will be suspending the collection of your debt

Please note that the following information is not a complete translation of your Danish letter.

We are writing to you because we cannot collect your debt by withholding part of your income. Therefore, we intend to suspend the collection of your debt. In doing so, we will be interrupting the limitation period on the debt. This means that a new limitation period will be applicable to your debt, and that we will have more time to collect it.

We are notifying you that we will be interrupting the limitation period on your debt by suspending our debt collection.

You will be notified as soon as we know how we will collect your debt in the future.

These are your options before we decide whether to defer the limitation period

  • You can pay the debt – please contact us for payment details.
  • You can comment on the information we have used.
  • You can choose not to respond; in that case, you will automatically receive our decision.

See an overview of your debt

The attached overview shows which debt this letter concerns. As a general rule, interest accrues on the debt on a daily basis.

In this section of the letter, you can see the amount of the debt (DKK).

If you have any other debt for collection by us, that debt is not covered by this letter. You can get an overview of your debt at Mit gældsoverblik (in Danish)

This is why we will be suspending the collection of your debt

We will be suspending the collection of your debt because we have assessed that we can neither collect the debt by withholding part of your income nor by levying execution against your assets. We have also assessed that we cannot write off the debt.

We have used eIndkomst to obtain information about your income for the past two months. We note that you have earned no A-income; therefore, there is no income to withhold.

Alternatively: We cannot withhold part of your income because we have assessed that if we do so, you will not have enough money to live on. We have used your budget to assess your financial situation.

If you do not have any comments, you do not need to do anything

If you do not have any comments about the information we have used, you will automatically receive a letter about our decision.

If you have any comments, please let us know within 21 days
